Help Your Grass Breathe

Your lawn needs oxygen just like you do. Remove debris from the yard, like deep piles of leaves and fallen branches.

And aerate your lawn at least once a year, and do it when the lawn is damp for the most benefit.

Feed Your Lawn

Fertilize it during its growing season (some grow spring and summer, others grow summer and fall). Add nitrogen if grass loses is lush green color.

Mow It Correctly

Cut 1/3 of the blade or less. Cutting it too short can damage it and cause it to brown up or die. Keep your mower blades sharp. Dull blades tear rather than cut.

Water at the Right Time

Water in the morning. And water deeply rather than often.
