Checklist - Before embarking on an insulation replacement project:

• Check wall insulation. Remove outlet covers (turn off the power first) and look behind them.
• Check for wall insulation on all sides. Older homes may have insulation in some walls but not others.
• Seal air leaks before beginning an insulation project.
• Check the depth of attic insulation. If you can see the joists sticking out, you need to add more.
