Checklist - Get the most out of your roof:
Inspect your roof annually, using binoculars while standing on the ground.
Trim branches so they're 10 feet away from your roof.
Remove accumulated leaves with a rake or water from a garden hose.
Clean gutters at least twice each year.
Eradicate any moss with moss-killer granules made for roofs.
