As if chain saws weren’t scary enough, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and STIHL Inc. are recalling 3,000 MS 391 models.

The gas-powered chain saws are billed as 20% more fuel-efficient than previous models. But the flywheel can crack and separate, causing parts to massacre — uh, we mean “strike” — users and bystanders.

If you own the chain saw, stop using it, like, yesterday, and return it to an authorized STIHL dealer.

This is the second time in seven months that STIHL has recalled power tools. Last June, STIHL recalled 2.3 million yard machines with “toolless“ caps because they posed a fire hazard.
