If you have a Frigidaire self-clean range from Lowe’s, check to see if it’s been recalled because of a fire hazard.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission has recalled 185 Frigidaire self-clean Ggs ranges because a delayed ignition on the bake-broil feature poses a fire hazard.

Only one incident, and no damage or injuries, has been reported.

The ranges were sold exclusively at Lowe’s stores from February 2012 through March 2012 for between $800 and $1,000.

If you own a recalled range, stop using the bake and broil functions and contact Frigidaire, which will provide information about an inspection and arrange for a free in-home service and repair if necessary.
